Installation of Gravity Drainage

The construction of this new store was carried out by the infrastructure, support services and construction group Robertson who sold the site to Asda in November 2012, after being granted planning consent by Aberdeenshire Council earlier in the year. CapCon worked at the new site to install a gravity drainage and siphonic drainage systems.

Asda invested £11 million with the construction of a 25,000 sq ft (sales area) supermarket, customer cafe and petrol station. The development will also sees the creation of almost 200 new jobs. As well as bringing significant employment opportunities to the town, the proposed store will provide more consumer choice, quality produce and Asda’s famous low prices.
